I have a large supporting beam in my garage that is perfect but I may have to do some research into heavy duty fasteners. I actually went out and picked up 48" pre-threaded galvanized pipe, two 6" pieces, and some galvanized elbows and flanges...problem is it is VERY difficult to screw on those elbows even with pipe wrenches...I'm about half-way there, but they don't seem to want to budge beyond that...I don't know much about pipes, so if you have any tips/techniques you could share about how to properly secure the pipe connections it would be much appreciated!
